The village of Ehrenburg-Casteldarne is connected to the railway network.
Attention: From 15 December 2024 to 26 January 2026, the railway line between Franzensfeste and Bruneck will be suspended for major modernisation work. During this period, a replacement bus service will operate, with connections every 30 minutes between Brixen/Bressanone and Bruneck.
Both Ehrenburg-Casteldarne and the main town of Chienes-Kiens along with the outlying areas of St. Sigmund-S. Sigismondo and Hofern-Corti can be reached with public buses.
