Immersing yourself in a sustainable holiday experience becomes even more serene when local mobility is assured. If your journey to South Tyrol excludes a personal vehicle, rest assured that reaching your destination or lodging is hassle-free via bus or train. Timetables for both are meticulously synchronized, ensuring seamless connections from train stations to nearby towns and villages, facilitating the final stretch to your accommodation via public transit.

Embark on a scenic bus ride through vineyards, quaint villages, and picturesque countryside landscapes. Yearning to ascend from cityscape to mountain peak? South Tyrol boasts a rich tradition of providing convenient access to elevated towns and villages. Utilize the region's cable cars to whisk you to mountain hamlets and trailheads within minutes, available year-round for your exploration and enjoyment.

The village of Ehrenburg-Casteldarne is connected to the railway network.

Attention: From 15 December 2024 to 13 December 2025, the railway line between Franzensfeste and Bruneck will be suspended for major modernisation work. During this period, a replacement bus service will operate, with connections every 30 minutes between Brixen/Bressanone and Bruneck.

Both Ehrenburg-Casteldarne and the main town of Chienes-Kiens along with the outlying areas of St. Sigmund-S. Sigismondo and Hofern-Corti can be reached with public buses.
